There are people in life we should meet and there are people in life we should miss. We've all experienced both. If you look back at the people you should meet, you will see divine appointments and connections. When you look back at the people you should miss but didn't, you will see bad experiences, hurt, grief or even a demonic appointment and connection.

Controlling and Manipulative people devastate our lives if we allow them to control and manipulate us. They become stumbling blocks and are actually satanic. This is what Jesus told Peter he, Peter, was being to Jesus. How do you handle controlling and manipulative people when they are nearly always close relationships - friends, spouse, relatives, etc.? Let's take a look and see exactly how to handle them.

Jesus expects his disciples to think different. Jesus was saying, "Okay. They think their way. Who do you say I am? If I'm going to use you to change things I need you to think different. Do you think like the people in the past, or do you think different about what God wants to do?"
This Sunday we celebrated 30 years of ministry. Some people shared a few thoughts and Pastor Delbert talked about how Life Gate Church began. there's so much more to what I've done than preach sermons. There are the happy times of weddings and baby dedications and baptisms and feeling a part of extended families. There are the sad times of sickness, hospitals, deaths, funerals, and broken people. I've been given the opportunity to love people and be with them when things were going their way and when things were not.
Legacy is a word we don't use much. We use 'love' frequently. We love everything. We use 'good' all the time. Everything is good even God. But, we seldom use 'legacy.' The reason is there just aren't many legacies left. When you get to leave a legacy, you have accomplished something special and lasting.
How can every Christian church share every year about the resurrection and the story stay alive? How can the same story be talked about for two-thousand years and remain alive, pertinent, and life changing? It's because Jesus is alive and he is The Story That Will Never Die!

FATHER'S DAY - ADAM'S RIB - sermon notes, sermon audio, sermon video
Why did God use one of Adam's bones? Why not a piece of Adam's heart, or a piece of his brain? The rib bone is special. It's the only bone in the human body capable of regenerating itself. Adam's woman/wife, Adam's children, Adam's family, and Adam's posterity were created from a special place within Adam.

Looking for a revelation of the Revelation? This might work. This is an eye opener and a challenge to traditional theology totally backed up by scriptures. Here, it's a 27 session class lasting several months. Originally, the Revelation of Jesus Christ was a three year study. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL "END OF THE WORLD" TEACHING.
What I want to talk about today is of course, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but not only the day two-thousand years ago. Let's begin with a few questions. Why did God raise Jesus from the dead? God saved us by the precious blood of Jesus and grace through faith, not by raising Jesus from the dead. So why the resurrection? The main question I want to ponder is why one of the ways Jesus continues to appear is a Lamb as if it had been slain? Do you see Him as a Lamb as if it had been slain?
