The Storm
Do you find yourself in the midst of a storm of life? Do you feel stressed at every turn?
Psalm 4 says, "Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness. You have enlarged me when I was DISTRESSED."
In our hard times, our dark times, our times of distress God can enlarge us. In these times, God can enlarge our dream, our vision, our confidence, our strength and our commitment.
I personally do not believe God creates the storms of life with which we all contend. But! I do believe that God will not WASTE a single one of them! He will use every single storm, whether a result of bad choices, reaping what we sow or just being in the boat with someone going through a storm, to enlarge and mature us.
The storm is no time to blame God or get bitter. IT IS A TIME TO GET STRONGER.
In your darkest hour God can birth a miracle. Use your storm as a “stepping stone” to get closer to God.
Look to God in your storm, in your struggle, because he will ENLARGE YOU IN TIMES OF DISTRESS. |
