Prisoners of Hope
Zechariah 9:12 says… Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope!
Sometimes the delay of our dream feels like a prison of hope. We cannot make our dream happen but neither can we stop believing for our dream or vision. We are stuck.
We are held prisoner in our dream and cannot go back, no matter how tempting. But, we are not going forward!
God is telling us in his Word to come back, return, to the place of safety. That place of safety is completely trusting in him and surrendering our lives and future into his hands.
God did not stop with saying come back to the place of safety. He continued in verse 12 of Zechariah to tell us “I promise you THIS VERY DAY that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”
If you belong to the Lord, you are not without hope. Return today to the place of safety, which is complete surrender to God, and let him repay you double for your trouble! |
