Happy Days 

In 1^st Peter 3:10, Peter tells us- the Scriptures say, “if you want to enjoy life and see many happy days,  keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.”

Nothing does more damage in the body of Christ and nothing separates life-long friendships as quickly as spreading rumors, telling lies and gossiping about people.  There is no excuse you can come up with that will justify telling something about another person that is going to harm them.  Whether it is true or not, it does not matter to God.

What does matter to God?  People matter to God.  Think about how angry you get when someone says something to harm your children.  How much more does it anger God when we say something that damages one of his children?

We need to rezone our homes and lives to be “gossip free zones.”  Let’s live happy, good lives.  Let’s control our tongues and guard our lips!
