A Wounded Prayer Life
I want to talk to you today about your prayer life.
Is your prayer life dying from the hopeless decay of DELAY? Often we pray about the same thing for so long that we just grow weary. Maybe you have prayed for years for your mate to serve the Lord or healing for your body or just to know that you are in the right place, doing the right thing. After so long a time, now, you feel hopeless and that your prayers are not getting through. You have a “Wounded Prayer Life.”
Sometimes when you are hurting and wounded you cannot see past the pain. Many of you are in that place right now. The delay of your answer is tempting you to give up or compromise. Your loving Heavenly Father wants to rescue you on a level where you do not know how to rescue yourself.
A very wise man once said, “Prayer is the most powerful thing on earth.” I must agree. The key is to pray without ceasing. Do not give up. Do not compromise.
God is faithful! He will answer you. |
