So, the greatest country music singer in the world, George Jones, sings a song titled “Choices”. Now George could tell some stories of the results of choices he has made in his colorful life. The song says…LIVING AND DYING WITH THE CHOICES I’VE MADE….powerful huh! We all live or die with the choices we make. What about you. Are your choices bringing life or death….. Life to your dreams or death to your dreams.
How powerful do you veiw your choices. Let’s help each other.
The following are two quotes from Perry Noble’s web-site.
I said it today–but let me say it again…God has called Lucretia (Perry’s wife) and I to disciple our daughter–not the church. The church should serve to teach, support and encourage…but should NEVER be the number one spiritual influence in her life–her mother and I should.
I believe if more parents embraced that God has called them to disciple their kids there would be fewer people po’d at the church for not doing what parents should have been doing all along–making disciples.
I could not agree MORE with Perry’s views of discipleship. We always were thankful for the time and commitment it took for the church to minister to our children, however, always hoped that we were their major source for learning of the Lord and His Kingdom and their responsibility to be a functioning part of His Kingdom. We encouraged our children to sow their talents and gifting’s into the church first.
